NOW CASTING... Project Description: "Gone In The Night" is a “found footage” feature film, in the style of Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project, with elements of European indies and classic thrillers. Current casting is taking place for asst. character roles as well as the four main roles: two men, two women, ages 18-24 (by appearance.) Assorted character roles include "David Lynch" type characters - 18 and over. Due to the nature of the project, some skill with improvisation will be necessary, and the four principal actors all need to be completely comfortable in front of the camera. There will be some nudity for the lead, as well as a scene of graphic violence. Actors should be attractive, charismatic and able to bond quickly with their cast. This will be a quick shoot without a lot of prep time, so actors will be responsible for independent study of their lines and fleshing out their characters. "Gone In The Night" also is planned for festival distribution, and streaming and/or DVD release in 2012/2013. Because this is a micro-budget, non-union movie, compensation will not be offered, but the cast will receive finished copies of the film, and be part of its promotion. Character Roles: 18 and up Lead Roles: Ages 18-24 Jeff – college age; leader among the four friends; smart and a little aloof Rachel – college age; Jeff’s girlfriend of several years; follows his lead, but there is something a little wild about her Andrew – college age; went to high school with Jeff; athletic; not quite as smart as Jeff, and inclined to defer to him on occasion Stella – college age; has only known Andrew and the others for a short while; Andrew has a crush on her, but she sees him as more of a brother figure; she is a little immature, but very open and more nurturing than the rest Please bring Headshot/Contact Sheet, if possible, to audition. |
